5th grade students raise money for 2 AEDs

Through East Ward Elementary School's Disability Awareness and Acceptance project, three fifth-grade students, Louis Oswald, Will Shook and Sebastian Villarose, researched Sudden Cardiac Arrest. Once learning the life-saving capabilities of AED machines, the students took their project one step further, raising $1800 to fund two additional AED machines for the building. With the support of Aidan's Heart Foundation, there are now AED machines located on all three floors of EW.
